Did you know the modern Dijon mustard recipe was created over 160 years ago? In 1856, mustard maker Jean Naigeon swapped vinegar for verjuice (the juice of unripe grapes), giving Dijon mustard its signature smooth, tangy flavor.

Alex suggested we stop by La Maison Maille, one of France’s oldest mustard boutiques. And what was supposed to be a quick look somehow turned into four jars coming home with us.

We picked up:
🌿 Tarragon
🍄 Black truffle & celery
🍯 Honey
🥄 Ancienne (whole grain)

But now I need your help (Bc I never have mustard at home (:
