✉️ there’s an exercise I love: imagine you could live several different lives. let’s choose three. what would each of them look like? where would you live? what would you do? what would your days feel like? …in another life, I own a tiny bookstore by the sea. with good coffee, just one kind of pastry, and a selection of things I love. ✨the idea is to imagine these lives in detail, and ask yourself: what parts of these other lives could I bring into the life I have now? @kristina_hananeina my blog is about noticing life. places, people and the small things that make a life feel like your own. if that sounds like your kind of place, stay 🤍 #slowlifestyle #slowlife #bookaholic #bookstore #artofnoticing
5 museums for a rainy day in Amsterdam! Save this post for autumn in Amsterdam 🤎 – Het Grachtenhuis One of Amsterdam’s most charming museums. The story of the canals told almost like a storybook. You leave looking at the city a little differently. Interactive in the best way. – FOAM The photography museum I keep coming back to. Never boring, never the same. Probably the museum I’ve visited most in the Netherlands. – Rijksmuseum Obvious? Maybe. But impossible not to include. 🍂 my ritual: come early on a weekday, grab a coffee, sit in the garden for a while, then go inside and find one painting that makes me stop, and stay with it for 10-15 minutes. And always lose myself in the library. – Museum Van Loon My favorite museum garden lives here. A hidden gem, right in the center. Quiet and elegant. – Stedelijk Museum Another classic, but for contemporary art lovers. Don’t skip the cafe and the shop — both are part of the experience. p.s. bonus: Our Lord in the Attic A secret church hidden in the attic of a canal house. Unexpected, intimate, beautiful. Still one of the most surprising museums I’ve visited in Amsterdam. #museum #museumsamsterdam #netherlands #visitnetherlands #amsterdamlife
№3📕 if you love old books, I think you’d like it here. second-hand books, old maps and prints, tucked into a narrow passage in the middle of amsterdam. my favourite part is the hidden garden, with benches where you can sit and read the first few pages of your new find. 🤎 save this for your next walk. 📍 Oudemanhuispoort between Oudezijds Achterburgwal and Kloveniersburgwal #visitnetherlands #slowlifestyle #peoplewatching #amsterdamlife #booklover
