How to make a small, short nose look longer:

Darken the sides of the nose from the bridge all the way to the tip. Keep the stripe in the center thin and extend it all the way down to the tip. Lightly darken just under the nose — visually, this will create the effect of a longer nose.

How to make a long nose look shorter:

Darken the tip of the nose higher than it actually is. Then darken the sides of the nose starting from about the middle, and slightly darken a small area in the center to create an “upturned” effect.

How to make a wide nose look narrower:

Darken the sides of the nose, extending the shadow along the full width. Darken the lower part as well. You can either leave a continuous light stripe in the center if you like a straight, narrow nose, or slightly darken the center to achieve a slightly upturned but still narrowed look.
