juliabarminova I used to think that painting in the Sea was impossible, but here are my tips on how to make it work:

* Simplify your composition. The light and waves change fast—focus on capturing the essence, not the details.
* Choose the right tools. Clips are especially necessary.
* Don’t fight the motion - use it! Let the natural movement of the boat add life to your strokes.
* Work small! A big sheet will turn into a sail in the wind. I’d rather create six small sketches than one big painting—I’ll save that for the studio.
* Forget perfection—embrace the moment. The goal is to feel the ocean, not control it.
