angela_nikolau I want to thank the Universe — or God — for always watching over me and supporting me through the people around me.

When I first envisioned my solo exhibition in NYC, I knew exactly how much I needed. But I had no idea where that amount would come from. People told me to look for sponsors — but I had never done that before and had no idea where to start (still open to advice!).

Then one day, my best friend took me to a yoga practice in NYC. It was a warm, open space where people shared their dreams and the fears that come with them.

When it was my turn, I said honestly: I want to do a solo show. It’s time to find someone who could help fund it — but I’m scared and don’t know how to ask.

And then something magical happened.

The woman sitting next to me — @eleonoragryn — turned to me with a warm smile and said, “I’ll support you.”
She invested a significant amount to help make this show happen.

Because of her support, I was able to move forward with so much — and something shifted inside me. It became easier to speak my truth, to ask for what I need, to trust that if I open up, the universe will respond.

A stranger believed in me. Asked for nothing. Just gave.
