I think people automatically associate Huskies as males. I frequently hear “he,” “handsome,” and “boy” when I’m out walking Kira. The exact opposite happens with Hoya though. Many mistake his white coat and smaller size for a girl. It’s always funny to me, and my dogs could care less!
