Rocky Mountain National Park allows leashed dogs to walk on closed roads. There’s a sweet spot in late May where the road opens to the higher elevation parking lot, but the rest of Trail Ridge Road is still closed. It results in the ability to hike on the closed road to find an epic amount of snow…13 ft of it!
